Backup and Restore Google Sheets
Don't stress if you screwed up your Google Sheets template!
It happens! Fortunately, there are two simple methods that you can use to backup and restore your Google Sheets template - back to a previous version.
This is helpful if you are using our Sheetify CRM (Google Sheets CRM) and you accedentely deleted or screwed something up (It happens!).
You can use the following two methods to backup and restore your Google Sheets template in seconds.
Method 1: Google Sheets Automatic Backups
Did you know Google Sheets has a powerful restore feature called 'Version History'.
This Google Sheets restore feature allows you to restore any previous edited version of your Google Sheets template (these versions are automatically saved).
So, if you made a change that you didn't like or you accidentally deleted something on your Google Sheets template, you can simply restore a previous version.
Just click on 'Version History' and choose the version date to preview the previous version and then hit restore!
Simple right?
Method 2: Google Sheets Manual Backup (Copy)
Did you know you can also manual create a copy of your Google Sheets template?
Simply head over to 'file' and 'make a copy'.
Add your template copy name and this will create a complete duplicate of your data and Google Sheets Template that you can save anywhere on your drive.
That is it!
Those are my two methods that you can use to backup and restore your Google Sheets Template.
I will also link a video tutorial down below showing you how to do this with our Google Sheets CRM (Sheetify CRM).
Enjoy!
