What's the difference between Google Tasks vs Google Keep?

What's the difference between Google Tasks vs Google Keep?

Google Tasks and Google Keep are two Google productivity apps commonly mistaken for one another.

So, what are the differences between Google Tasks and Google Keep?

Google Keep is essentially a note-taking app that lets you freely organize your thoughts or ideas in one place.

You can create text notes, checklists, voice memos, drawings, attach photos, and more.

With features like color coding, labels, reminders, and easy collaboration tools, it's the perfect solution for jotting down any quick notes or ideas from your phone or desktop.

In contrast, Google Tasks is a simple yet streamlined task management system integrated into your Google Workspace account.

You can create tasks, subtasks, and lists, and set due dates and priorities.

And when you add a reminder to a task, it automatically syncs with your Google Calendar, ensuring you always stay on track with your schedule.

Google Keep is more about capturing ideas, while Google Tasks is designed to manage tasks and deadlines.
